Hire An Experienced Realtor

Interview potential agents, pay close attention to their experience level. An experienced realtor can walk through your home and let you know exactly what needs to be done for a successful listing.

Be Flexible With Showings

If your home can be showing with little or no notice, more prospective buyers will see it.  If you require 24-hrs notice, they may choose to skip your home altogether, which is one less person who views your property, which could have been your buyer.   

Clean Everything

Hire a company to deep clean if you can’t do it yourself.  The home should be neat and clean, no matter what time of day or night.  Those last-minute showing requests could be the buyer you are waiting on. 

Set The Right Price

A home that is overpriced in the beginning tends to stay on the market longer, even after the price is cut, because buyers think there must be something wrong with it.  This is one of the top mistakes that sellers make. 

Photos

Ask your realtor if they will have professional photos taken, walk through video tours, or drone coverage.  Having professional pictures can make the difference in whether a buyer views the property. 

Curb Appeal

You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.  Make sure everything is freshly painted, tailored landscaping, mowed lawn, flowers in the flower bed. All can go a long way.
